In the vast glass family, there is a type of glass that is crystal clear, high-end and elegant, known as“ Glass Aristocracy; It is called ultra white glass.

Characteristics of Ultra White Glass

Ultra white glass is a type of ultra transparent low iron glass, also known as low iron glass or high transparency glass. It has superior physical, mechanical, and optical properties and can be processed and manufactured in various ways like other high-quality float glass.

1. Crystal texture and stunning appearance: Ultra white glass has excellent transparency and crystal texture, with a high aesthetic value that can better meet the needs of designers and perfectly integrate with architectural design.

2. Low self explosion rate: Generally speaking, ultra white glass raw materials contain fewer impurities such as NiS, and are finely controlled during the melting process. Compared to ordinary glass, they have a more uniform composition, greatly reducing the probability of self explosion after tempering.

3. Color consistency: The iron content in ultra white glass raw materials is only one tenth or even lower than that of ordinary glass, and it absorbs less green light in the visible spectrum, ensuring the consistency of glass color.

4. High visible light transmittance and good transparency: The transmittance of ordinary glass is generally around 80%, while ultra white glass with a thickness of 6mm has a visible light transmittance of 91%, which is crystal clear. In addition, high transmittance effectively reduces light refraction and reflection, which not only reduces light pollution, but also prevents color difference and deformation between objects inside and outside the glass, enhancing authenticity.

5. High technological content and strong profitability: Ultra white glass has a relatively high technological content, difficult production control, and strong profitability. The higher quality also determines its expensive price. Currently, the price of ultra white glass is 1-2 times that of ordinary glass, and the technical barrier is relatively high.

Types and processes of ultra white glass products

1、 Product type: According to different processes, it can be divided into ultra white rolled glass and ultra white float glass.

1. Ultra white rolled glass: Ultra white glass produced using rolling technology can be divided into solar ultra white rolled glass (solar substrate glass) and ultra white transparent flat glass.

Advantages: Ultra white rolled glass has high solar transmittance, low absorption, high reflectivity, high strength, and resistance to solar ultraviolet radiation without reducing transmittance.

2. Ultra white float glass: Ultra white glass produced using float glass technology is a high-quality, multifunctional new high-end glass variety.

Advantages: Ultra white floating glass has better transparency, light transmittance, strength, flatness, and self explosion rate than ordinary glass. In addition, it can also be used to make thin film cells, which are cheaper than polycrystalline silicon cells and more suitable for building exterior walls.

2、 Process flow: Ultra white glass can undergo various deep processing like other float glass, such as tempering, bending, laminating, hollow assembly, etc.

What are the protective construction measures for lead plates?

Lead sheet refers to a sheet rolled with metal lead.It has strong anti-corrosion and acid-alkali resistance. It is also a relatively cheap anti-radiation material in many aspects such as acid-resistant environmental construction, medical radiation protection, X-ray, CT room radiation protection, weighting, and sound insulation.

Advantages of lead glass

The advantages of lead glass are as follows: it is strong and durable, the mechanical and thermal properties are roughly the same as acrylic resin, and the impact resistance is also very superior. It is easy to process, can be processed, glued and laminated, and is used for cutting, cutting, grinding and perforation.Transparent brown plates with high transparency, high transparency and beautiful appearance can generate large-size transparent shielding plates, which cannot be achieved with lead glass.Lead glass raw materials are more complex, and can be divided into main raw materials and auxiliary raw materials according to their functions.

Application of lead plate and lead glass in medical places

With the advancement of science and technology, X-rays have been widely cited in the field of medicine, providing convenient conditions for the diagnosis of diseases. However, it is precisely due to the frequent use of radiological instruments that medical staff touch these rays for a long time, accumulating over time so that the amount of radiation exceeds the amount carried by the human body. Then the organs of the human body that form the medical staff will cause certain damage.
